Mastore in Claude and ChatGPT

Connect Mastore to Claude or ChatGPT and manage your shop by chatting. Ask it to list a product, change stock or a price, add photos, or tell you what sold. It works on the same catalogue and the same stock count as Mastore, so every marketplace you have connected stays in step.

What you need

  • A Mastore account on the Growth or Pro plan (or a trial), and at least one marketplace connected.
  • To be the workspace owner. Only the owner can connect an assistant.
  • Claude (a paid plan) or ChatGPT.

Connect it to Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Mastore and enter https://mastorehq.com/api/mcp. Leave the other settings as they are.
  3. Choose Connect. Sign in to Mastore if asked, check the workspace name, then choose Allow.
  4. In a new chat, switch Mastore on from the tools menu.

Connect it to ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, choose Add, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Mastore, enter https://mastorehq.com/api/mcp and choose OAuth for authentication.
  3. Sign in to Mastore if asked, check the workspace name, then choose Allow.
  4. In a new chat, switch Mastore on from the + menu.

Things to ask

  • “List the blue mug on eBay, Etsy and TikTok Shop at £18. I have 6.”
  • “Create a product called Linen tote bag, £12, 10 in stock, with this photo.”
  • “What sold this week, and which marketplace made the most?”
  • “I broke the last vase, set its stock to 0.”
  • “Change the tote bag's price to £11 on Etsy only.”
  • “Any returns waiting? Put the unopened ones back on sale.”
  • “End the tote bag on TikTok Shop, but keep it everywhere else.”

Photos

In ChatGPT, attach the photo to your message. In Claude, ask to add photos and Mastore shows a panel in the chat where you choose them. The first photo is the main one on every marketplace.

What it will ask you first

Removing a product, or ending a listing on a marketplace, always needs your yes in the chat first. Everything the assistant changes shows in your activity in Mastore, the same as a change you made yourself. A removed product can be restored from Removed products.

Disconnecting

In Mastore, open AI assistants and choose Disconnect AI assistants. Every connected assistant is signed out at once. You can also remove Mastore from the assistant's own settings.

Your data

The assistant only receives what your requests ask for, and never your buyers' names, addresses or contact details. The details are in our privacy policy.
